Hello! I am Alessandra Cupani, an artist based in Pennsylvania, USA. From a young age you could find me doodling silly faces on napkins, and today I’m doing much of the same! I am passionate about creating playful portraits and imagery. I take inspiration from children’s book illustrations with the attempt to elevate and show through the world through my own lens. Creative all my life, my work has been a cultivation of many skills. I’ve worked hard to sharpen my skills in painting, drawing, and design but I also find joy in exploring a range of materials. When I’ve explored outside my comfort zone I found interest in sewing, collage and welding. As long as I am using my hands and working through creative obstacles then I am a happy artist!
